Intense thirst, frequent urination and weight loss in a child → test blood sugar immediately. And if your child's yearly height gain has slowed, or they are clearly shorter than peers → don't wait another year: treatment options are widest before the growth plates close.
International service
Not every family can travel to Mosul. An online consultation puts specialist advice within reach at a scheduled time, over a video call after the child's file has been reviewed in advance, and always ends with a written plan you can hand to your child's doctor at home.

Yes. Families come to the clinic from every Iraqi governorate, and we also receive cases from abroad. For those who cannot travel, an online video consultation is available, ending with a written report and follow-up plan in Arabic or English.
From newborns to the end of adolescence. Some diabetes and growth cases need follow-up until growth is complete, after which the transition to adult care is arranged.
If your child is clearly shorter than peers of the same age, or growth has slowed so the expected yearly height gain is no longer happening, or they lag behind where their siblings were at that age. Early diagnosis widens the treatment options, since some depend on the growth plates still being open.
No. Many cases are due to constitutional growth delay or familial short stature and need monitoring and reassurance rather than hormone therapy. Growth hormone is prescribed for specific conditions after testing establishes the need.
The vaccination card, any previous tests, imaging or reports, a list of current medicines and their doses, and any record of height and weight measurements. For diabetes patients: the readings log or the meter itself.
